Company Introduction

Tung Mung Development Corporation, initially established as Tung Mung Fiber Company in 1968, has been a prominent player in the textile.

Synthetic fibers, and garment industries.

The year of 1990 marked a pivotal shift in the company’s strategic direction in response to government initiatives aimed at investment stimulation and industrial advancement. This strategic realignment involved divesting its textile-related ventures to Dong Feng Fiber Enterprise Co., Ltd., subsequently pivoting its corporate focus towards specializing in the manufacturing and international trade of stainless steel.

In a move towards technological and quality enhancement, Tung Mung entered into a technological transfer agreement with Krupp Steel Germany the same year.

This partnership was aimed at elevating Tung Mung’s technical capabilities and product quality to a global standard. This ambition materialized with the establishment of a cold-rolled stainless steel manufacturing facility in Xuejia District, Tainan City, boasting an impressive annual capacity of 150,000 tons.

Tung Mung’s commitment to excellence is further evidenced by its investment in cutting-edge production equipment from European countries, Japan, and the United States, coupled with its recruitment of a highly skilled workforce. By 1995, Tung Mung had commenced mass production and sales, offering an extensive portfolio of stainless steel products that include various grades and finishes such as the 200, 300, and 400 series, as well as No.1, 2D, 2B, BA, No.3, and No.4 surfaces.

Renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality, Tung Mung has secured a formidable position within the industry.

Adhering to sustainable management practices, Tung Mung is deeply committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities and contributing to the enhancement of societal well-being.

The company’s ethos, centered on “quality first, supreme reputation, and unparalleled service,” reflects its dedication to achieving excellence in every facet of its operations.
